All around Iceland are many places where you are able to participate shore fishing with good results. You can get the big fish of many species, cod, haddock, catfish and various species of flat fish. Our guides have been catching up to 22 different fish species while fishing from the shores of Iceland. You are able to get good privacy while fishing as there is not a tradition for shore fishing among Icelanders therefore those who have come to Iceland for shore fishing have been very successful and happy with their trip.

Fly fishing:

It can be said that Iceland is a dreamland for fly fishing, for those who want to fish on lakes or rivers. Iceland has an extremely diverse flora of sustainable lakes and rivers where you are able to engaged fly fishing. Most people know about Salmon fishing in Iceland, but fewer know that in Iceland, you can catch a big trout, both brown trout and sea trout. There are also many places where you are able to catch arctic char and sea char. Everyone should be able to find something for their liking, all depending on what priorities people have.

Hunting:

Iceland is no less attraction for hunting than fly-fishing. In Iceland you can find many different types of geese and ducks and a lot of Ptarmigan. There is also some reindeer hunting, which is strictly regulated requiring a license.
